You’re Never Too Old

"Age is simply the number of years the world has been enjoying you!" - Unknown

Did you know that spending time on your health and fitness is even more important as you age?

While we can’t change genetics or family history, there are many things you can do to help prevent chronic health conditions.

If you’re looking to get started on a sustainable routine, here are three steps you can take TODAY toward a healthier you, especially as the days get colder:

  1. Exchange 10 minutes on a screen for 10 minutes of outdoor green. Get outside and take a walk. Try going by yourself, without your device, focus on your breath and looking all around you.

  2. Add an extra cup of green veggies to your meals. Green hearty veggies that come from the ground and the farm in the winter are loaded with nutrients that your mind and body are craving in the cold season. Examples: swiss chard, spinach, carrot greens.

  3. Try a new exercise for 1 minute as hard as you can.  Getting your heart rate up allows those distracting thoughts and long to do lists to vanish, even for a minute.

Here’s a favorite JRAPPFIT Greens Recipe, plus a 1 MINUTE MOVE to get you started.
