Doing Your Hard SCARED

Yes you can.

Do the hike.

Climb the mountain.

You won’t regret it when you get to the top.

Zoom in on this pic and notice my wet and dirty knees. Yep, I had to crawl a bit.  My left left leg just does not have a lot of mobility from a lifetime of surgeries.

That’s why I am here to say GO DO YOUR HARD THING.

In 2014, I tripped over a rock on a regular woods walk with my dog. Something I did most days.

It would be a full year before I could get over the fear of walking over stumps in the woods again.

That fall led to 3 months of pain, drugs, disorientation, brain fog, depression and then finally a hip replacement.

The recovery was slow. It was a process. Just like ALL things in life, right?

But I eventually got back out there. I started with hiking poles for a while. I was nervous. I was scared.

But I kept trying. Now, I take a breath of gratitude for EVERY DAY that I get to walk in the woods and take confident steps.

And now I climb mountains.  Even if friends have to push my arse up a bit😘

Doing your hard, fearful thing will be worth it.

I can’t wait to see your smile when you do! It’s for REAL, the best.

Yours in Health,

Jenny
