The Power of a One Minute Move

Exercise is HARD.  Period.  What makes it harder? Not doing anything. 

This is why 1 Minute Moves are so effective- they are small, DO-ABLE movements, that get blood circulating through your beautiful body, to WAKE UP all the good stuff.  

Can I hear a “YES! Give me MORE of that!” 

Seriously, 1 Minute Moves are a magic elixir for your mind, body and spirit- all connecting you to your breath. Short and sweet.

One of my favorite exercises for a 1 Minute Move is ARM CIRCLES.

Arm circle benefits:

  • improves joint mobility

  • strengthens muscles (arms, shoulders, biceps, triceps)

  • increases blood flow

  • decreases risk of injury

*Add a step tap with the legs for bonus neuron work to the brain. When feet are moving across one plane of the body and the arms another, you fire up extra neurons & endorphins!

3 other exercises you can TAKE ANYWHERE to fire up those neurotransmitters, waking up your heart, your mind, your spirit:

  1.   Jumping Jacks

  2.   Reverse Lunges- the lower you go the more you are going to feel this

  3.   Squat + 1,2 PUNCH

No matter where you go, you can take these exercises with you! MOVEMENT matters!
