You Can Start Over Anytime
Sometimes you can feel stuck. You feel as if you should just be doing the thing you did so well the day before, but today you have a hard time putting one foot in front of another.
The good news is we can start over any time.
You truly can start over anytime, any day, any hour, any where. How do we do this?
Go back to your roots: What roots have you created in the past that felt like they clung to the soil, enriching the roots, trunk, stems and leaves. That action resulted in growth. You were in it. You were growing and branching out and living with purpose.
If it feels like that’s a hard place to get back to, then dig up those roots and plant something new. A little bit of sunshine goes a long way.
If you are thinking of a transition or entering something new in your life, here are a few actionable steps you can take towards the thing that grounds you:
Walk it out. MAKE A MOVE by taking a walk. Ground your feet in nature, walk over the roots and stumps, think about how those roots might be helping you or keeping you hostage.
Talk it out. LISTEN to the stirring in your heart. Silence your cell. Silence all the noise. Grab and pen and paper. Write your thoughts. All of them. Writing slows your thoughts and process down and helps your immune system settle and relax.
Work it out. If you are still unsettled about something or someone, pick up the phone and call them. Walk with them. Talk with them. Processing your thoughts with someone else can often lead to clarity and fulfillment.
It’s never too late to start over. You got this!
